There is a swimming advisory in place for the Old Mill Beach in Blind River. The Ministry of Health took water samples on Monday, and now say it is unsafe to swim at beaches with increased levels of bacteria. When the water is back to safe parameters, a notification will be sent out.
The advisory doesn’t stop people from swimming, and just give the conditions of the water. If you do go in, avoid swallowing the water, and shower once you get home.
