Hughes praises the cadet program in northern Ontario

The federal MP for Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing is praising the various cadet programs. Carol Hughes says the programs help make stronger communities. Hughes says a lot of volunteers make the programs happen and the New Democrat is speaking from experience, as her daughter went through the sea cadet program.

Hughes says cadet programs, like air, army and navy, instill confidence in young people and some of them become our future leaders.
