Police have charged a man after he threatened to kill his common-law wife in Blind River. The man went to the woman’s home where he made the threat. Police have charged him with uttering threats to cause bodily harm to a spouse. In an unrelated incident, a personal support worker faces charges after cash and gift cards went missing from a seniors building in Blind River.
An elderly woman says about $150 in money and gift cards were gone from her wallet after a visit by the employee. Following the complaint, a 26-year-old Blind River woman is now charged with theft under $5,000 and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
