Serre issues challenge to improve seniors housing

The MP for Nickel Belt has a challenge for groups to improve affordable housing for seniors.  Marc Serre says the feds are doing their part by spending $2.3 billion on seniors housing over the next two years.  Serre says what’s needed now is for the private sector, local groups and co-ops to also invest in this area.

The Liberal MP says a lot of seniors are waiting to get affordable housing and this list will only grow over time.  Serre says partnerships can cut into that list and get seniors into housing they can afford.
