Espanola beach re-opens after nearly a year

After being closed for nearly a year, the Clear Lake Beach in Espanola has re-opened.  The beach was closed last July 9th when underwater foliage known as Eurasian milfoil was found in the water.  The Sudbury and District Health Unit says the foliage is no longer an issue.  However the health unit will keep an eye out to see if the plant comes back and it’s beginning regular water quality monitoring tests.
