Bisson pushing for First Nation school boards

Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson wants First Nations to have their own school boards.  Bisson has introduced the Education Amendment Act which allows First Nations to form regional boards.  Bisson says First Nation school boards would eliminate funding inequities that now exist between Aboriginal and non-native students.  Bisson also believes a better education system will improve socio-economic conditions among First Nation communities.
