A lengthy fire ban on open air burning has finally ended for the Municipality of Huron Shores. The ban ended Monday morning after nearly four weeks. The municipality prohibited open air burning back on May 9th when dry weather hit the region. But plenty of weekend rain has put enough moisture in the ground for the ban to come off.
