The energy critic of the NDP wants the Liberals to hold off on refurbishing nuclear plants. Peter Tabuns says the refurbishment will add at least $5 a month to our electricity bills at a time we don’t need the extra power. Tabuns says the billions the refurbishment will cost is better spent on conservation programs especially considering Ontario has an energy surplus at this time.
