NEOMA throwing their support behind regulating gas prices in Ontario

Another major group is supporting the drive to regulate gas prices at the pumps in Northern Ontario.  The latest group to jump on board is the Northeastern Ontario Municipal Association after FONOM gave its support two weeks ago.

Municipal councils in North Bay, Timmins and Powassan want gas prices regulated similar to how Quebec and the Maritimes now do.  Energy minister Bob Chiarelli says regulated gas has limited benefits and would result in higher administrative and regulatory costs.

However, Nickel Belt MPP France Gelinas says the minister is not being factual.
