OPP weighs in on another OPP investigation of Wynne Liberals

Vic Fedeli, the provincial member for Nipissing, says the Ontario Liberals are making history, but for all the wrong reasons.  Fedeli says for the fifth time, the OPP are investigating a sitting government and adds this is unprecedented.

Fedeli says this latest probe is the result of former Premier Dalton McGuinty cancelling energy projects in the south to win more seats two elections ago.  Trillium Wind was a casualty of the cancellations and sued for 2.5 billion dollars and settled for $500 million.

Fedeli says as the lawsuit progressed, a significant discovery was made.   He says at the trial stage, it became evident that documents were missing and these turned out to be more deleted e-mails.

Fedeli says the OPP decided to investigate the Liberals on their own without any requests or demands from the Opposition parties.  The Tory MPP says this is the fifth investigation the OPP are conducting that involves a sitting government and adds this is unprecedented.
