HSN is celebrating Nursing Week

Health Sciences North is sending out its appreciation to the nursing staff as part of this week’s Nursing Week. HSN’s Chief Nursing Executive, David McNeil, says the hospital would come to a standstill without nurses. He says they are highly knowledgeable, skilled professionals, who are the heart and soul of healthcare.

Over 1500 nurses work at HSN, which makes up 40 per cent of the workforce at the hospital. Not only do they provide front-line care to patients, but they also lead community wellness initiatives, and develop new models of care.
