Drinking water advisory for Little Current

The Sudbury Health Unit is issuing a drinking water advisory for Little Current. There was a temporary loss of pressure in the water system, which means water samples have to be taken to make sure it is safe to drink. Don’t drink the tap water, use it for cooking, or brushing your teeth.

The health unit says boiling it may not even make it safe. Use bottled water or fill water containers in Sheguiandah or at the Little Current Recreation Centre. The health unit will continue to monitor the situation and will send out a notification when the water is safe again, which they expect will be late this week.
