Fedeli: Liberals not out of the woods yet over provincial deficit

The provincial member for Nipissing is playing down Moody’s improving Ontario’s outlook from negative to stable.  Vic Fedeli says Moody’s upgraded the outlook to stable because the Wynne Liberals are lowering their multi-billion dollar deficit.

But Fedeli says they’re doing that, not by reducing spending, but by selling off assets like Hydro One and using that money to pay their bills.  And Fedeli says he already knows what happens when the Hydro One money is used up.

The Tory finance critic says up next for sale will be OPG headquarters in Toronto and the LCBO warehouse.   Fedeli says at best, the Liberal approach to reducing the deficit is an artificial solution.
