Mischief creates danger

Espanola police say someone in town created a potentially dangerous situation for a time by bending over four stop signs.  All four signs are in the Avery and Secord area.  While police were able to put one sign back in its upright position, Public Works had to straighten out the other three.  The concern is a motorist approaching the intersection in question might go through it thinking the stops signs had been removed by the town.
