Ritchie Falls Resort to get a $500K facelift

The federal government is investing $500,000 into the Massey region. The money is coming from FedNor, and is going to the Sagamok Development Corporation to expand and upgrade the Ritchie Falls Resort. The development will allow for cultural tourism, while creating jobs. It will help to increase cultural tourism in Sagamok Anishnawbek and surrounding areas.

Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre says the facility will be a community hub, while positioning the region for long-term economic success. Chief Paul Eshakakogan says the project will benefit the entire community and provide crucial employment.
