Spaghetti dinner to help a local woman with major surgery expenses

Spring Bay on Manitoulin Island is hosting a fundraiser next month to support a local woman who needs major surgery. Dawn Young suffers from type-one diabetes, and complications are now requiring her to have a double-kidney transplant and a pancreas operation.

The fundraiser is going to be a spaghetti dinner on May 12th at the Providence Bay Hall. Tickets are available at Wilson’s in Mindemoya and Loco Beans in Gore Bay.
