The Sudbury Health Unit is reminding the area about what to do if the area floods, now that spring is here. The health unit is particularly concerned with well water being contaminated if surface water gets in, and septic systems being compromised in a flood. The health unit says wells should be disinfected if the water is compromised, and septic systems won’t work properly if the ground is saturated with water.
