Elliot Lake is looking for volunteers to help two Syrian refugee families who will soon be in town. The Elliot Lake Organization for Refugee Action has announced the launch of a campaign to raise funds and integrate the families into Elliot Lake. There are many openings for volunteer positions, to both prepare for the refugees and to help them adjust to life in Canada once they arrive. For more information, get in touch with ELORA.
