MPPs face expense filing changes

New rules are coming into effect which will have an impact on how provincial expenses are logged. MPP costs, for things like travel, will now be put online in a timely fashion instead of waiting until the end of the year.   Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson says transparency is always the way to go, but this new system is confusing.  Bisson says it’s not so complicated for MPPs themselves, but more for the people who have to process the claims.   In addition the changes mean the province has to hire more people to process the complicated forms.
