A 36-year-old miner at Vale’s smelter in Copper Cliff is dead. The man was killed in some kind of accident at the smelter around 6:30 Sunday evening. Sudbury police are not releasing any information on how the accident happened. A 28-year-old co-worker is in stable condition in hospital after being seriously hurt in the same incident. The Ministry of Labour is now involved in the fatal accident.
