Billboards have been mounted at Espanola’s north and south entrances to encourage shopping locally.
Louise Nadeau, the manager of economic development, says billboards have been refreshed at Espanola’s two entrances due to weather damage and deterioration.
While they are still in the implementation phase of the Economic Diversification Strategy for the LaCloche Foothills Region, supporting and promoting local businesses remains an important priority. Nadeau emphasizes that shopping locally strengthens the local business community, keeps investment in Espanola, and contributes to the long-term economic resilience and growth objectives outlined in the Strategy.
She adds local businesses are also encouraged to register with the online Business & Services Directory at no cost.
