One of the big contributors in the Elliot Lake Moose FM radiothon was the local Canadian Tire. The retailer donated 100 toys as police held a stuff an OPP cruiser event. So far, 96 percent of the money pledged over the two-day event has been collected. When you combine the cash donations and toys, this year’s radiothon total will hit nearly $30,000. The donations help needy families in Elliot Lake, Blind River, the North Shore and the Island.
