Technology allows First Nations to share medical records among doctors

Fourteen First Nations on Manitoulin and along the North Shore are now part of an electronic medical record system.  The system makes it easier for doctors in another location to access and share medical records of their patients.  With records combined, it means fewer people falling through the gaps.  The health link is a pilot project and the Wikwemikong First Nation will be the first to use it next month.
