The 13th Annual Wrapped Up in Warmth Campaign in Espanola is set to go with two businesses already lending their support to the cause.
The annual campaign, hosted by CJJM’s Morning Host Rosalind Russell, collects outerwear, footwear, and necessities for the most vulnerable in the community.
The campaign also includes collecting necessities and toiletries to donate to the Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank and, this year, to the Mission to Cuba led by the Northern Life Church.
Christina Ouimette, who oversees Creative Hands, a local organization that hosts luncheons and donates the proceeds to local charities, donated $200 to the Moose yesterday.
Espanola Home Hardware Building Centre is sponsoring the campaign and has also donated $500 in gift cards.
The campaign officially launches this weekend and runs throughout the month of November.
Anyone wishing to donate gently used or new items, can find the links on our websites.
