The Espanola Elks have teamed up once again with The Moose 99.3FM – CJJM Espanola once again for the 49th Annual Christmas Hamper Fund.
Elks’ organizer, Gary Tennant, says the partners gather cash donations to purchase complete Christmas Hampers for individual and families throughout the North Shore Corridor.
He says this year, the annual fundraising drive will be held at the Espanola Mall on Saturday, November 29th from 10 am until 3 pm.
Tennant adds anyone who needs a basket can register at the Elks Hall from 1 pm to 4 pm from Thursday, November 27th to the 29th.
He says delivery of the baskets will take place Saturday, December 20th in time for Christmas.
He says last year, the organizations provided 132 baskets to families in the local area.
