Town of Espanola hosting open houses focusing on economic diversification

Espanola is hosting open houses to focus on economic diversification locally, and in the LaCloche Region.
According to the release, KLB Consulting, on behalf of the Town of Espanola, will be hosting two in-person Open Houses for public input to assist in developing a regional Economic Diversification Strategy.
Officials say the strategy is part of a LaCloche Mayors and Reeves Association regional plan for the town, and the member townships: Sables-Spanish Rivers, Nairn & Hyman and Baldwin.
The two in-person open houses will be held on Monday, November third from 12 to 1 at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex and from 5 to 7 pm at the municipal town office.
The municipalities want the public to provide their input on how to build a stronger local economy, and for those not able to attend, there will be a survey released soon.
