The Greater Sudbury Police Service is introducing a new online reporting platform next week.
According to the release, the new platform will replace the current system and offers a more intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly experience for reporting non-emergent crimes and incidents.
The system features multi-lingual support in over 50 languages, has geolocation accuracy with Google Maps and can be uploaded and accessed on any device.
It also supports the reporting of sensitive incidents that are investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division, including hate crimes and hate-motivated incidents, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
The new system goes online on October 20th.
