Busy weekend for local NOJHL

The Espanola Paper Kings had a busy weekend on the ice this past weekend.
The Iroquois Falls Storm survived a late Espanola Paper Kings rally winning 5-4 in a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League match-up at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex on Friday night.
Kings’ captain Cameron Menard scored in his 10th consecutive game as part of the 3-2 road win over the Soo Eagles Saturday night at Pullar Stadium.
An impressive end-to-end dash up the ice by Jonah McIndoo saw him wire in the game-winner, 43 seconds into overtime, as part of a narrow 2-1 victory by the Blind River Beavers over the Soo Thunderbirds Saturday at the Blind River Community Centre.
