Marking National Day for Truth & Reconciliation in Espanola

The Town of Espanola is partnering with Noojmowin Teg Health Centre to host a mini–Pow Wow Social on September 30th in recognition of the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.
According to the release, the gathering will be held at the Oval at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.
There will be displays including a focus on the Trout Creek Settlement, free lunch, and door prizes.
Participants are asked to wear regalia or their orange shirts as part of Orange Shirt Day.
The event is set for 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, but note the complex is closed for the day, except for the duration of the gathering.
