Dog guide program getting support through national walk

Dog lovers in Elliot Lake and surrounding area will be part of a walk for the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides.
On Saturday, May 24th, families, their dog owners, pet lovers and supporters will take part in the walk to raise funds for the national campaign led by the Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs.
The Walk, one of 200 community walks taking place across Canada, aims to raise $1.6 million so that dog guides can continue to be provided to Canadians with physical and medical disabilities at no cost.
Registration takes place at ten am with walkers departing Pet Valu Elliot Lake (14 Oakland Blvd) at 11 for their stroll.
