Youth offered employment opportunities in Espanola

Youth between the ages of 16 to 29 are being an opportunity for a 10-week in-class training followed by an eight-week paid work placement starting next week in Espanola.
There are still a few opening by Employment Options Espanola/Manitoulin, to get hands-on experience in four disciplines: carpentry, electrical, welding and plumbing.
The students will also receive Health and Safety training with certifications, Job Readiness training, and workshops in Indigenous Cultural Awareness and EDI.
The program runs from May 5th to August 29th at the Espanola & Trades Trailers (A10 Fabrication) on Highway Six, with 12 spots available for interested individuals.
