A young Blind River runner is hoping to see plenty of people take part in a five-kilometre run to raise funds for local shelters.
Sophie Azzi has set the run for Wednesday, June 11th starting at 6:30 pm in the evening.
The run will take place from the Loop Boom Camp Trailhead to the Blind River Marine Park.
The entry fee is $10 per person, and additional donations will be accepted with the funds going to the Mississauga First Nation Women’s Shelter and Elliot Lake Maplegate Shelter.
Registration will be set up closer to the event.
