Billboard campaign underway to find missing Manitoulin Island woman

The family and supporters of a Manitoulin Island woman who has been missing for over six months has started a billboard campaign in their efforts to find her.
Thirty-one-year-old Juanita Migwans’ aunt, Mary Ashcroft, says her niece was last seen in M’Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island on October 4th, and despite a $100,000 reward, there have been few clues or tips on her disappearance.
She says her niece did not have her bank card or phone on her when she went missing, but she was not the type of person to take off, especially being a mother and having family and so many close friends.
Ashcroft says the family has begun to advertise her disappearance on a series of four billboards with the first one now erected on Manitoulin Island.
She adds they are raising $15,000 through GoFundMe to add three more.
The three would be erected on Hwy 17 as well as Hwy 69 north of Parry Sound.
So far, over $6,200 has been raised.
