Four local area school boards have approved the appointment of Chris Verrilli as Athletic Administrator for the Sudbury District Secondary School Athletic Association.
According to the release, Verrilli has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Administration from Laurentian University, graduating in 2020, and was actively involved in the Sports Administration Student Council as well as managing co-curricular athletic programs.
His experience in coordinating championships like the Esso Cup, Telus Cup, and the Sudbury Wolves align directly with the responsibilities of his new role as Athletic Administrator.
The four boards include the Rainbow District School Board, Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord, Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon and the Sudbury Catholic District School Board.
