New student school trustee for French Catholic Board

The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon has elected a new student trustee for the District of Sudbury.
Suzanne Salituri, CSC Nouvelon Chair says Élianne Bernier, a grade 11 student at École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur in Sudbury will succeed Mélanie Denis-Plante as student trustee and commence her term on August 1st.
She says Bernier sits on the Student Parliament holding the position of Minister of Francophonie, a well as the FESFO representative council, the VIBES committee, writes for the student newspaper and has accumulated 162 volunteer hours.
Salituri adds she will be joined on the Board by Lydia Raddon, a grade 11 student at École secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord in Blind River for the second year of her term as student trustee for the District of Algoma this August.
