East Algoma OPP has arrested three teens in connection with a shoplifting incident at an Elliot Lake Grocery Store on Tuesday evening.
Constable Bev Gauthier says officers responded to a call involving an attempted theft of alcohol.
She says a store staffer tried to stop three people from leaving, but they fled the scene and pushed an employee causing them to fall and injure their shoulder.
She says on Wednesday, they arrested all three, an 18-year-old from Blind River and two 16-year-olds from Elliot Lake and charged them with attempted theft under $5,000.
The three will appear in Elliot Lake court to answer to the charges.
