Police continue to search for missing teenager with ties to Espanola – Foul play suspected, $50,000 reward offered

Twelve years later, the search for a missing Sudbury teenager with strong ties to Espanola continues with a $50,000 reward being offered for information.
On September 16, 2013, Meagan Pilon was reported missing to the Greater Sudbury Police Service.
She was last observed entering her residence on September 12, 2013.
Investigators believe she left her residence during the early hours of September 13, 2013.
At the time of her disappearance, Meagan was 15 years old, 5’10” (178 cm) tall with a slim build, brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a circular scar on her right cheek and a bunny tattoo on her left shoulder blade.
Foul play is suspected in Meagan’s disappearance.
Despite extensive searches as part of the ongoing investigation, Meagan has not been located.
The Government of the Province of Ontario is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Meagan.
The investigation continues with the GSPS, under the direction of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigation Branch. Anyone with information concerning this investigation is encouraged to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
