Elliot Lake Arts and Heritage Centre, home to ARIEL and the Elliot Lake Arts Club, opens first workshop

The Elliot Lake Arts and Heritage Centre will be hosting its first workshop since finding a new home and finishing renovations to the new space.

Now located in Elliot Lake’s downtown, the centre is an arts and cultural hub operated by the Arts and Culture Roundtable in Elliot Lake, known as ARIEL,  and houses the Elliot Lake Arts Club and the Elliot Lake Model Railroad Club.

The organization was housed in the former Lester B. Pearson Civic Centre, which was demolished following a roof collapse in February of 2019, and it took several years to establish the new location.

This Saturday, they are hosting their Holiday Open House, which will allow everyone the opportunity to not only see the space, but also participate in their first workshop, Intro to Watercolour.

Everyone is invited to attend.
