  • Elliot Lake – Ranger Lake
  • Blind River
  • Manitoulin Island

Snow squalls expected tonight and Wednesday. Hazards: Locally heavy snowfall with accumulations near 30 cm. Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 5 cm per hour. Very poor visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Power outages possible due to the heavy wet nature of the snow. Discussion: Lake effect snow squalls off Lake Huron and the North Channel will move north into the area this evening. These snow squalls will move in an out of the area tonight before locking in place by Wednesday morning as a low pressure system moves across the area, enhancing snowfall amounts. Snow squalls will then move south out of the area Wednesday evening.
