This past Tuesday, November 19th, The Manitoulin OPP in partnership with Foodland in Mindemoya, hosted a Stuff-a-Cruiser event in honour of P/C Marc Hovingh.
Constable Hovingh was fatally shot while on duty in November of 2020.
Officers were busy throughout the day filling up three cruisers with non-perishable goods and delivering them to the food bank.
They also raised just under $4,500 in monetary donations.
The Manitoulin OPP and Foodland extended a hue thank you to the wider community in not only filling the shelves of the food bank, but also for honouring Constable Hovingh’s memory.
