Charges laid in fatal collision

Sudbury police have laid a charge in last month’s fatal collision where a pick-up truck hit a car killing a 17-year-old girl in the car.  The car was crossing Highway 17 during daylight on October 28th at the city’s west end from a side road when it was hit by the truck which was moving along the highway.  The 17-year-old passenger died in the collision.  The 18-year-old Sudbury boy driving the car is charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
