The National Day of Truth and Reconciliation is just around the corner and there will be activities held in communities across Canada including Espanola’s Second Annual Gathering.
Crystal Clark-McGregor with Noojmowin Teg in Espanola says the public is invited to the gathering at the Espanola Legion Branch 39 to honour the children who never returned home and residential school survivors.
She says the day’s events include a three-kilometre walk, various Orange Shirt activities and information booths.
She adds it will be held next Monday, September 30th from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
