The VON Manitoulin are organizing a Bereavement Grief Group in Little Current for mixed losses, 18 years old and over.
The agency says support groups are a safe place for grieving people to find comfort in sharing with other caring people who are also grieving the loss of a loved one.
The group will be facilitated by VON Grief and Bereavement Coordinators and will run every Wednesday from 4:00-5:30pm starting on October 9th until November 27th.
This is a ‘closed group’ so participants are asked to commit for the eight weeks.
Facilitators will also supply the book and journal “Understanding Your Grief” by Dr. Alan Wolfelt.
The service is free to anyone who needs supports following the loss of a loved one.
