East Algoma OPP looking for public help in identifying boat

The East Algoma OPP are looking to the public to help them identify a boat that officers say came very close to a group of swimmers late last week.
Constable Bev Gauthier says last Wednesday evening around 6 pm, officers checked out a marine complaint where a white boat came within 15 to 20 feet of a group of youths swimming at the public beach on Lake Lauzon in the Township of the Northshore.
She says concerned parents on the beach began yelling at the occupants of the boat and while doing so the boat returned, began cursing at the people on shore and left in a reckless manner.
Gauthier says police are looking to identify four individuals in the white boat (bearing serial number KMV2000D0).
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
Photos of the boat and occupants are available on our websites.
Anyone with any information regarding this investigation is asked to please contact the East Algoma OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Reference # E241083652
