Manitoulin artist providing unique Island memorabilia

A Manitoulin Island artist has found some unique ways providing memorabilia for visitors and residents alike while supporting local causes.

Ashley Whyte of Gore Bay is a multimedia artist doing illustrations, graphic design, photography and writing creating unique books, cards and now bumper stickers for those who want to bring a bit of the Island home with them.

The stickers can be found at vendor markets she takes part in through the tourist season.

Besides working on volume six of the Manitoulin Colouring Book, she is also working on a 2026 Rescue Pet Calendar featuring 12 heart-warming stories with a portion of proceeds going to the Manitoulin Pet Rescue.

She has written for local newspapers, designed logos for island businesses, illustrated and self-published multiple books, and even filmed, edited and produced a music video that was screened at Cinéfest Sudbury’s CTV Best in Shorts Competition in 2018.

She can be reached at ashleywhyte.com, by phone at: 705-968-1374 or via email at [email protected] .
