St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation reaches $700,000 goal

The St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation has reached its goal for improvements and has launched a new campaign for more hospital enhancements.
Foundation chair, Deborah Dubois, says the organization has exceeded its $700,000 goal for the oncology and pharmacy expansion campaign.
She says the excess will help cut the extra costs of materials and the preparation needed for the renovations, adding building codes and accreditation standards must be met.
Dubois adds they will be purchasing 12 new beds for the Withdrawal Management Program at the Oaks Centre and two lifts for The Manor.
She extends a huge thank you to the wider community adding the foundation will now focus on renovations to the operating rooms at the hospital as its new campaign.
Ticket sales from the sweepstakes, monthly 50/50 draw and the Split the Pot Lottery will now go towards the OR Renovation Project.
