Kraft Hockeyville game to be held in Sudbury – fundraising continues for Centennial Arena repairs

The City of Elliot Lake has announced that the Kraft Hockeyville pre-season game will be held in Sudbury.
According to the release, the City of Elliot Lake will host the game between the Ottawa Senators and the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Sudbury Community Arena on September 29th.
It also states that more information regarding the game and ticketing will be announced at a later date.
The city won the game and $250,000 as the winnings from this year’s Kraft Hockeyville contest.
Meanwhile, the fundraising continues for repairs to the Centennial Arena.
The team at AJ Bus Lines made a generous $25,000 donation to the Jamie and Jo-Ann Armstrong Centennial Arena Repair Fundraising Challenge on Tuesday.
AJ Bus Lines has been a great partner and has gotten many teams to and from the Centennial Arena over the years.
Members of AJ Bus Lines, ELNOS, Elliot Lake Rotary, Elliot Lake Minor Hockey and the City of Elliot Lake were on hand for the cheque presentation.
