The Espanola Public Library is hosting a special guest this August and he is all about … dinosaurs
The National Touring Museum is supporting a tour by dinosaur expert, Tim Jeffries and his lecture – “DISCOVERING DINOSAURS: Fossil Hunting in Alberta’s Badlands.”
Jeffries, fresh off a wild year in Alberta, will not only share his dinosaur knowledge but is bringing a collection of fossils he excavated in the badlands.
He will also be offering a crash course in fossilization and learning the art of telling rocks from bones.
The free presentation by Jeffries will be held at 2 pm on Friday, August 9th at the Espanola Public Library; no registration required.
