Nomination meeting called by NDP for new riding

The current Nickel Belt Riding will become the Sudbury East-Manitoulin-Nickel Belt when the federal election is called.

To ensure the public can meet the next NDP candidate, Andreane Chenier, the Nickel Belt Election Planning Committee is hosting a nomination meeting to make it official.

Chenier ran in the 2021 election.

The meeting will be held on June 23rd at 2 pm at the CUPE 4705 Hall in Copper Cliff or via Zoom online.

The keynote speakers are Algoma Manitoulin MP Carol Hughes, and Nickel Belt MP Frances Gelinas, who both recently announced their retirements for the political arena.

The hall is located at 41 Veterans Road in Copper Cliff.
