Elliot Lake council has revealed the new name for their art centre.
The city had run a name the art centre contest over the last few weeks and came up with a shortlist of ten names.
The public was invited to vote on their favourite, which is The Elliot Lake Arts And Heritage Centre.
Renovation to the store front of the building has nearly been completed and interior retrofits are nearly done.
The new space will house studios, workshops, and local historical displays.
It was purchased and remodeled to replace the Lester B. Pearson Civic Centre, which had to be demolished due to a roof cave-in a couple of years ago.
